Reminder to those who were planning a straight 14-hour trip to Ticao Island:
Forego driving non-stop especially when it is getting late and find a stopover spot like CBD Plaza Hotel, a budget hotel conveniently located near SM City Naga and Bicol Central Station.
Nothing beats this bed with four pillows: one pillow for your neck, back, arms, and legs! Body pain from road trip solved!
You need to recharge not just your camera or smartphone battery, but yourself to spare you from a sleepy haggard looking travel photo the next day, and most importantly for your road safety!
The long drive and additional walking and shopping drained our energy and dehydrated our skin and body. So, before we hit the sack, we deserve a relaxing shower at least!
Their restroom is nothing fancy but has enough room for the basic essentials.
Look at the spacious open cabinet! We could not wait to hang our towels dry.
They could also provide not just one extra mattress…
It is in Juliana Hall where we took our breakfast. As we view the setup of this hall, it seems that the CBD Plaza Hotel is booked a lot for local business meetings, seminars, and maybe a little retreat.
Their breakfast serving was small but glad I got my all-time favorite tuna and egg combo to keep me satisfied.
This might remind you of a typical cafeteria but we did not mind as all is in there especially the fruit juice and all the seasonings.
Their lobby got Christmas decors still up because we went there post-Christmas day 2017.
Spacious parking space beside CBD Plaza Hotel.
Bicol Central Station just right in front of the hotel.
CBD Plaza Hotel frontage complement the blue sky.
Here are the hotel rates:
You do not need to splurge for a stopover. Just save up and enjoy the moment as much as we do!
