One Piece Story-Age Monkey D. Luffy Figure

As mentioned in our previous post: Game and Toy Figure Shopping at Greenhills – March 2019 Edition, we bought a One Piece Figure to complement our One Piece World Seeker purchase.

The figure was named as One Piece Story-Age Monkey D. Luffy. It was manufactured by Bandai Spirits Japan. And it was distributed by Bandai Namco and Banpresto Japan. It was now available in the Philippines and we bought it at Great Toys Online in Greenhills.

There was a minor damage in the box so we asked the front staff if there are other stocks available. But the front staff said that there were no more stocks left. She let us unbox the stock available at the store to double check if there were damage inside, but seeing there was none, we proceed with our purchase.

What makes One Piece Story-Age Monkey D. Luffy figure unique is the manga-style design around Monkey D. Luffy, highlighting the best moments in Luffy’s life.

On the top left, it shows a young Luffy, Ace, and Sabo.
On the top right, it shows an older Luffy, Ace, and Sabo.
On the lower left, it shows a young Luffy crying when Shanks broke his arm.
On the lower right, it shows Luffy crying, reminiscing about the Straw Hat Pirates.

What makes it more manga-style also, is the Japanese sound words (onomatopoeia) displayed on top of Luffy’s head, colored in red. Of course, before we purchase, we make sure the Monkey D. Luffy figure itself is detailed from the face, hair, body formation, and costume.

We are happy with our One Piece Story-Age Monkey D. Luffy figure. And it really complemented our purchase of One Piece World Seeker game.
