Doctor Diet Manila – Food Diet Delivery Review ( Part 8 – February 25 2021 )

For Part 8 of our food diet delivery experience with Doctor Diet Manila, we got Tuna Empanada, Chicken with Papaya Mango Salsa, and Beef Stroganoff Linguine.  We also got a piece of fruit, cookies, and boiled egg.

This meal plan I’ll be sharing to you is from Doctor Diet Manila’s 4th week of February 2021 weekly meal plan.

Breakfast : Tuna Empanada

Doctor Diet Manila’s Tuna Empanada has this golden brown pastry, with ranch dressing and lettuce on the side. While eating this, I couldn’t help but remember the special empanada we got in our highschool cafeteria, back then. It’s pork empanada though, and it has minced potatoes, and raisins inside. It was always available every breakfast, so we were used to eating it back then. And it’s hands down yummy and memorable. Then there’s the birth of Jollibee Tuna Empanada (just last year?), which is my favorite also (the spicy one!)

So how did Doctor Diet Manila’s Tuna Empanada compare to the previous empanada experience I got? Well, I love how they perfected the golden brown pastry of this Tuna Empanada. Sometimes, others may just focus on what’s inside, but the coating means a lot too with the total food experience. I did not dip the pastry in to the ranch dressing, and just savor the richness of the pastry flavor. I just dip the lettuce in to the ranch dip. There’s no other strong ingredients inside, other than the tuna making it simple, but delicious!

Lunch : Chicken with Papaya Mango Salsa

For me, the meat of a chicken, no matter how you season it, still provides a bland taste, especially if you choose chicken breast. Good thing, Doctor Diet Manila doesn’t just end this lunch dish, just by seasoning or marinating it. They added another flavor in a form of papaya mango salsa. Gosh, I love this mango salsa. I love mixing it with the rice. If we were given another extra small container of that salsa, then I must be mixing it with the chicken too. On the side, there are green beans for veggies. And there’s green chili included (make it 10 chili, please, for me!)

Snack : Cookies

What better way to enjoy this homemade cookies by Doctor Diet Manila? It’s to eat this with coffee, tea, or non-fat milk, while watching your favorite variety show. In our case, we love to watch the famous Korean variety show, Running Man!

Snack : Fruit

Sorry I wasn’t able to take a photo of the fruit but it’s either banana, apple, or dalandan.

Snack : Boiled Egg

Sorry I wasn’t able to take a solo photo of the boiled egg. Boiled egg is included in 1800 high protein calorie meal plan. My boyfriend Joseph has that included in his 1800 high protein calorie meal plan, while I got none in my 1200 calorie meal plan.

Since snacks and fruits are not specifically mentioned in their published menu, for sure Doctor Diet Manila got more surprises to offer for us when it comes to snacks and fruits. Gosh, I love surprises!

Dinner : Beef Stroganoff Linguine

If you were reading my Doctor Diet Manila blogposts from part 1 up to this post, you already know that I found Doctor Diet Manila’s signature dishes. On one post, I wrote that it’s their breakfast dishes. On another post, I wrote that it’s their savory wrap. But for this post, I realized their pasta skills is up there too! I LOVE this Beef Stroganoff Linguine of Doctor Diet Manila. While eating this, I recap on my mind their previous pasta dishes and those are excellent tasting too. This is something you wanted to order in platter / tray version for your special events.

The boiled egg is not included in this dinner dish, but Joseph wanted to include his snack, boiled egg in a main meal.

I ate the cherry tomatoes first, but I wonder what will it taste like if I squashed it in to the pasta? I would try experimenting again if Doctor Diet Manila, repeat this dish to their future menu!

The creamy sauce is the bomb, and the beef is the bigger bomb in this pasta! Since I was on a 1200 calorie meal then, I couldn’t help but look at Joseph’s 1800 calorie meal plan. Eating this pasta dish that’s beautifully prepared and cooked, made me regret I ordered just a 1200 calorie meal plan. I should have ordered 1800 or 1500 calorie meal plan at least.

Doctor Diet Manila Weight loss Results : I lost 2 kgs. in 3 days only!

On February 22 2021, I weigh 60.08 kgs. This is a sad moment for me considering I workout (though not consistent) since last year. I also was able to reach the 54 kgs weight loss last year but here I am again on a yo-yo weight cycle. My fault too ‘cos I love eating a lot too. But I’m not giving up this weight loss goal!

On February 25, 2021, that’s 3 days after, I weigh 57.940 kgs. That’s 2.14 kgs weight loss. I give credit to Doctor Diet Manila and my daily morning exercise to this weight loss.

Consistency is the name of the game here. As I was writing this today, March 28 2021, I weigh around 58 kgs. A little weight gain again as I am not consistent to ordering Doctor Diet Manila. I got a lot of cheats days too were I order my usual Grab food orders and I’m not consistent to my exercise routine, but I’m gonna tell you from my experience that this meal plan by Doctor Diet Manila really works (see that proof above!) And it’s up to you, your consistency, your habits, and your motivation to reach that goal.

Doctor Diet Manila Prices :

1200 calorie meal plan – PHP 390.00/day

1800 calorie meal plan – PHP 480.00/day

Note: I was prescribed a 1200 calorie meal plan by the nutritionist of Doctor Diet Manila. The pictures focused on this blog is a 1800 calorie meal (my boyfriend Joseph’s meal plan). My 1200 calorie meal is the one on the further back.

Aside from the two meal plan, they got different meal plan and sizes too depending on your goal. You can ask Doctor Diet Manila to plan for your healthy weight loss or maybe weight gain, or maybe to help you control your Diabetes too.

That’s it for this blogpost! Part 9 (February 26 2021) of my Doctor Diet Manila diet delivery experience will be up next!
