Unboxing: DRAGON BALL Z KAKAROT Collector’s Edition

Waiting for pre-order and release date of a most-awaited video game is also an unforgettable experience. But this is twice that I experienced having to contact different Datablitz branches, telling me that they were given only one stock of collector’s edition per branch and it easily became unavailable in the morning of the release date. Here in the Philippines, Datablitz is probably the number one game store for your games and consoles and collector’s edition pre-orders. It has a number of stores here in Manila so it’s convenient to buy in their stores too.

If you are waiting for a game or toy figure that’s supposed to be released after a few months, you stay away from stress by paying a pre-order fee in Datablitz.

But for my DRAGON BALL Z KAKAROT Collector’s Edition, I was waiting for Datablitz’s facebook announcement for pre-order prior to release date. But sadly, there’s none. They only posted an announcement of availability, exactly on the release date. I also experienced it before when I ordered Jump Force Collector’s Edition too.

Maybe because it was most-awaited that the collector’s edition really is just limited, or it easily became out of stock because other collectors are much quicker than me in ordering.

Thankfully, Datablitz – Robinsons Manila branch was very helpful when they assisted me in to calling via phone other Metro Manila branches, to ask whether they still had stock left.

Hooray! After maybe calling almost all stores in Metro Manila, we found that there was one stock left in Datablitz – SM North EDSA Annex.

From Malate, I rushed to a 2-hour ride to SM North EDSA Annex. The person in charge in Datablitz EDSA Annex and I agreed that I pick up the box at 6 PM.

When I arrived at Datablitz, I jokingly told them I even wear orange for this!

Actually, I never thought the box would be color orange too, same as the color of my long sleeves.

Thankful also to Datablitz – SM North Edsa Annex Branch for saving a box for me!

Joseph and I are both fans of this anime, Dragon Ball. Can you see his T-shirt with Dragon Ball Z print? It’s from Uniqlo by the way. The shirt suits him, and the orange box he carried suits the whole picture too. It may look light when he carried it, but it actually was heavy!
