Sedap Malaysian Kitchen Taytay, Rizal Branch

Advertisements

Let us take a break from the Korean and Japanese food craze, and have a taste of Malaysian food brought to us by Sedap Malaysian Kitchen located in Taytay Rizal!

I discovered Sedap Malaysian Kitchen through Facebook! We have tried almost all online food delivery available but we got to a point where our taste buds wanted to try something new!

So, what I did, I search on Facebook, keywords such as “manila delivery” or “Cainta delivery” then from there, Facebook pages of restaurants from your local/ nearby area come up which you do not usually see on Google!

What made us order in Sedap?

1. Large Chicken

When it comes to pictures online, one should be careful because people or businesses might fool you into their picture-perfect food which in the end is both NOT perfect in person and some may seem perfect but the taste is a NONO.

But with Sedap, you see that Chicken! We were literally holding that with one hand like how Luffy from One Piece eat his meat with one hand! Satisfying both in look and in taste!

2. Large Serving of Rice

We are rice lovers also, and we don’t just settle with plain rice, we try out other type of rice dishes. But one concern with rice dishes thought is may over power the taste of the viand or the ulam. But with Sedap’s Nasi Goreng Special, it is indeed tasty but it doesn’t overpower the taste of the chicken. That’s why it doesn’t matter if the serving of the rice is as big as the serving of the chicken, as the balance of flavors would empty your plate in no time.

When our food got delivered (which by the way is very convenient, you could just PM their orders to them on Facebook) we were told about this spicy sauce they called Sambal.

To think that the chicken and the rice combo is enough, that Sambal is the bomb! This I think makes Sedap got 5-star reviews apart from their excellent food and excellent customer service.

You may try other dishes also. From the upper right is Salted Egg Chicken and beside that is Beef Rendang. Actually, you may try it all yourself because the price surprisingly won’t hurt your pocket!

  • Nasi Goreng Special with Chicken – P135
  • Nasi Goreng Special without Chicken- P85
  • Beef Rendang- P150
  • Salted Egg Chicken- P150
